after two weeks.

so much for that self-pledge that i would be blogging religiously. obviously, i haven't. and the familiar unending cycle returns--- i do not know where to start.

they say a picture's worth a thousand words right? here goes:

official grades from last semester. not bad eh? =j (for those not familiar with the UP grading system--- uno or 1 is the highest, tres or 3 is passing mark. singko or 5 means failed.)

my academic schedule this semester:

ignore the "graduating" mark. i can't graduate until i am done with thesis. yes, i still have to face one more academic year after this. =)

i am excited for next week. academic week will be starting, and i'd be able to get a feel of what i'll have to survive for the next five months.

pardon me, i'm on a high.

i am, definitely, on a high. and on a roll.

everything i scheduled for today happened:

• i was able to submit the mrr letter (and return two overdue books in the library), which means i can officially go on a quick academic break. (yaaaay, i still have to finish the completion requirements for sir padre!)  
• the scheduled haircut date with roomate kit? check.

i had my hair done too. i got my "bangs" and a half-inch trim. hahaha. yes, even i couldn't tell the difference.

(ssssh, this is keith's hairday. let's not ruin it by talking about me.)
if you'd insist: my hair's good. but i can use some highlights. =D

i got tres from the geodetic engineering subject; and an uno and 1.25 for the two physical education classes ("walking" and "linedance", respectively). which is more than what i could ask for.

aha-aha, i am in nirvana!

i am enrolling for a "streetdance" class for the second semester. 'better use up all the slots while i can still call myself a UP student.

here's me. on upd's online grade viewing system: 

the ge11 grade is not yet in. so are the grades from the major subjects. i am crossing my fingers, but with what i have done for the duration of the past semester, i hope i can secure all the subjects. i sure wish i do. i am not supposed to fail any subject. evar. =D (i neeeeeed to make sir nick proud. kamon!)

also included are the subjects i have enlisted for the second semester, which will greatly depend on...

the job i'd take up for the next five semesters.

i will embark on a job hunting journey later. (it is 2:14am according to dell. i have to be up by 6am. *texting mommy to wake me up*)

i have no idea where the path to this part-time job plan will lead me. all i know is that the thought gets me all excited. my first stop will be to visit IBM. then i'd take it from there. wherever.

i hope to share more stories soon. =j

truth is, i can write anywhere. (as much as i can draw anywhere. hello, aspiring architect here!) but i am all for the presentation. that's why my first posts on the original friendster blog was all colored. (green & maroon, beat that!) that's why i never enjoyed posting in multiply. (i cannot "tweak" the design of the blog. saaaad.) that's why i was lured to join livejournal. ('loved the "mood" descriptions! =D) that's why i ended up choosing this template / background. (over-toasted?)

i needed a more personal space. sabi ko nga, 'yung magbubuo sa kasabugan ko. i hope this will serve that.

i have an entire week of academic break.

for my former roomates / dormates / orgmates / classmates / "batchmates":
YES. i am STILL in school. mamatay kayo sa inggit. hahaha. i know how much you rant about how easier it is to be studying. belat. =p

i decided not to go home, at least until i can decide how to spend the next five months of my life. yes, i am that serious. and the thought makes me all excited.

tomorrow, i'd drop by the college admin office and file for my mrr letter. for those who do not know what the hell that means... err... that's as appeal for the maximum residency rule in UP-diliman. a five-year course, like the bs architecture course, have a seven-and-a-half-year "grace period". i am overstaying, so i need to file that sweet, sweet letter. =j

i could have filed for the letter last friday, but the ever reliable water delivery did not arrive "after lunch".... and i was tied to watching "the vampire diaries". haha.

i now officially heart stefan salvatore.

my other arki roomate, kit (who's probably the only "broken hearted" girl that still looks that good), wants to have a haircut and i would like to join her. i haven't touched my hair since the start of this semester--- tomorrow is the day for a hair makeover! (yeah right, i doubt if anyone will notice the difference. i usually tie them all up anyway. haha.)

today, i was able to help a former roomate, april. (she was demoted to being my "next-door neighbor" after a sem. we definitely should not stay in one room, haha.) and since she was using dell, i finally had time to clean the ref. ah, me so proud of myself. the ref-cleaning was on the top of my head for the past five months. i just couldn't do it. and today, i did. such an accomplishment. =D

my brain is still exhausted over all my x-men evolutions all-nighters. but i can't stop. in fact, i'd be continuing my marathon after writing this.

more official announcements.

i know for a fact that writing religiously on this supposedly permanent blog space will be a struggle. that's the beauty of it. struggling never fail to bring out the best in me. or at least i think so. =)

the semester has officially ended. if this was any other sem, i should have been home by now. away from all the madness of the city. but i made the decision to stay. i need time to figure things out. time to take responsibilities. time to officially grow up.

truth is, i still do not have anything to write about. you, my dear reader, may very well be wasting your precious time reading this second post. this won't make sense to you. at least not yet. for i still do not have anything to rant about. (notice just how redundant those string of words were?) or maybe i have, but i am not yet ready to share. that's the beauty of it, i can write whatever i want, whenever i want to.

i made this blog to "compose" me. this will serve as that one primary place where, at least for now, anyone can find me. (yes-yes-yes, i am soooo stalker-friendly.)

notice that i changed my profile picture. see how beautiful i am. hahaha. i do not want to put up some kind of a pretty face. i want to show me, the struggling wanna-be-architect. i want to show me all geeky and plain for now, because i can have all the time to be pretty once the world is all ready for me.

yes, i'd take the ugly duckling phase for now. and i am more than ready to undergo the transition. let my newly recharged life begin. =)

hey, hey world. it's me. your proverbial (i don't even know what the hell that word means, i just like how it sounds) daughter.

for months i've been trying to own a senseful (apparently there's no such word, at least according to the word/spelling/whatever checker) blog. if you'll look around, i had a couple of blogs before. (no, i am not to discuss them one by one now.) i felt like i have spread myself too thin on cyberspace--- i need to put my acts together.


i am actually in the middle of studying for my last examination for this semester. haha.

for weeks i've been trying to compose what to write as my initial post. so i figured, hey, why not just leap and get down to it?

and yes, this is it. ME BACK. definitely back.
